Appointment Information
Because a homeopath treats the ‘whole’ patient, the more information that you can share about yourself, your symptoms, and your health history, the better as it will help us establish the right treatment plan for you.
Please make sure that your Client Information Form and your Medical History Form are completed and returned at least 2 working days prior to your appointment.
Initial consults are approximately 1-1.5 hours and follow ups are approximately 30-45mins. At the end of your consultation, you will be given a homeopathic remedy to start your treatment, along with the instructions to use it.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will attract full appointment fees. If you are unable to make your appointment due to illness, we offer online appointments so that you do not miss out.
PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is important to us. All records and information provided to us is bound by client/practitioner privilege except in the following circumstances:
a) You give your consent for us to share or discuss your information.
b) We are required by law to share your information.
c) We believe that you are a significant risk to either yourself, or others.
Occasionally we seek additional advice on difficult cases with a team of mentors, any cases discussed are kept nameless and the client is unable to be identified. If you would like to discuss this further with us, please let us know.
RISKS/BENEFITS
Homeopaths are not medical doctors, and therefore should not replace consultation with a medical professional. As with any conventional or complementary medical treatment, results are highly individualised & can never be guaranteed. As with any medicine (conventional natural, homeopathic or otherwise), there are small risks of reactions due to unforeseen circumstances such as unknown allergies and individual sensitivities. If any reactions occur, please stop taking your remedy until you can get in touch with your homeopath to discuss any changes that may be required.
medications
Homeopathy can be taken alongside regular pharmaceutical medication but it is important to disclose to your homeopath any medications you are taking or any allergies or intolerances that you have (food, environmental or otherwise). A homeopath cannot instruct or advise you on your pharmaceutical medications and you should never cease taking any medications prescribed by your doctor without first talking to them.
referrals
Your homeopath may refer you back to your medical doctor if they feel that further medical investigations are necessary. It will be your responsibility to do so alongside any homeopathic treatment that you are receiving. Please update your homeopath regarding the results of any investigations conducted.
