Hypericum perforatum: Traditionally used where symptoms involve nerve-rich tissues, particularly where discomfort is described as shooting or nerve-related.
Hepar sulphuris calcareum: Traditionally used where there is marked sensitivity to touch or cold and symptoms suggest local inflammation.
Mercurius solubilis: Traditionally associated with conditions affecting the mouth and gums. In homeopathic practice it may be selected where symptoms include tender gums, increased saliva or unpleasant mouth odour.
Homeopathic Blends For Dental Support
Below is a range of homeopathic blends containing medicines commonly selected in homeopathic practice for people undergoing dental surgery and other dental procedures:
Surgery Support: Contains the homeopathic medicines Arnica montana, Arsenicum album, Calendula officinalis, Hypericum perforatum, Hepar sulphuris calcareum and Staphysagria. It may be prescribed as part of an individualised homeopathic treatment plan following dental surgery. For dental procedures, some homeopaths may also recommend alternating this blend with Chamomilla 30c depending on the individual's symptoms.
Braces Blend: Containing Arnica montana, Chamomilla and Ruta graveolens, this blend may be prescribed following orthodontic adjustments as part of an individualised homeopathic treatment plan.
Skin Repair Blend: Containing low potencies of Arnica montana, Calendula officinalis, Hypericum perforatum, Plantago major and Symphytum officinale, this blend may be diluted and used as a gentle mouth rinse once your dentist has advised that it is safe to begin rinsing.
Wound Support: If you think you may have a dental infection, it's important to arrange prompt assessment by your dentist, as dental infections can become serious if left untreated. Where appropriate, I may prescribe this blend as part of an individualised homeopathic treatment plan alongside appropriate dental care.

Always seek urgent dental or medical attention if you experience significant facial swelling, difficulty swallowing, difficulty breathing or rapidly worsening symptoms.
